
SHNKR DEV SHILPA CHARCHA NIKETAN (SDSCN), An Elementary Art (Drawing and Painting) School likely to be up graded to the Higher Level (s), if possible as per objective set in the Memorandum of Association of the Institute. Sixteen Batches of Students have completed the Course of study under this School since its inception in the year 2001-2002. After a long gap during 2017-2023 due to unavoidable circumstances this activity has been being continued. The course starts from the month of August every year and Admission takes place in the month of July. The Course fee is very much negligible. other details about this School/Faculty of Fine Art have been given earlier in the paragraph under section “Performance or Activities since the Inception.”
This is primarily aiming to introduce gradually Ph.D. Programme upon various Disciplines /Subjects, namely, (i) Sociology, (ii) Economics, (iii) Political Science (iv) History (v) Geography And Environment (vi) Education (vii) Philosophy And Culture (viii) Indian Classical Language And Literature, Sanskrit (ix) Modern Indian Languages And Literatures: (ix) (a) Bengali (ix) (b) Assamese (x) International Language And Literature: English (xi) Linguistics subject to the availability of resource person/full time regular teacher as per existing norm of university grants commission and the affiliation/permission of the affiliating university, Cooch Behar Panchanan Barma University (CBPBU)
