About the Nature of the Prospective Research Activities

This institute is established basically to perform research activities upon various aspects of the life of the people of North Bengal And North East India in particular and India as a whole in general. So, the thrust areas of research under the purview of this institute are: -

To study the aspects related to Society, Economy, Polity, History, Geography, Environment, Education, Philosophy, Culture, Language Literature of the people of North Bengal and North East India in absolute fashion or relative design in comparison with other regions of India.
To study the aspects said earlier of India in general with special reference to North Bengal and North East India.
To Study the aspects stated before of India in general through absolute manner or relative fashion in comparison with the countries abroad,
To carry on research activities upon the Indian classical Language-Literature, Sanskrit, International Language-Literature, English as the institute views- this is very much necessary according to the desire and sprit of this locality and time. This view of this institute is generated out of its editing/ counting/ casting of societies educational demand from the developmental point of view.
To carry on research studies upon this region related modern Indian Language & Literature: Bengali & Assamese in absolute and relative/ comparative manner so far possible owing to the fact that this will explore a new horizon of developmental Studies
To carry on all the research studies from the point of view of change and development is keenly desirable.
